Fatih Tuncay

Fatih Tuncay was born in İzmir, Türkiye, in 1998. His passion for cinema began during his high school years. He graduated from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the İzmir Institute of Technology in 2022.

Between 2019 and 2022, he was an active member of the Marketing Communications Team at Fil’m Hafızası. From 2024 to 2025, he served as the Project Team Leader, where he was responsible for planning and coordinating events, talks, and film festival operations.

Since 2022, he has been working in the automotive industry as a Software Engineer and Project Engineer in the Research & Development (R&D) department.

As the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Sinefil Atak, he focuses on film criticism, festival journalism, interviews with filmmakers, editorial strategy, and international collaborations, while leading the platform’s vision as an independent cultural publication.
